全球首台“空中发电站”来了，研发团队就在长沙！

From September 19 to 21, at the Naomaohu Base in Hami, Xinjiang, the world's first megawatt-class commercial airborne wind-power system successfully completed its maiden test flight.

9月19日至21日，在新疆哈密淖毛湖基地，全球首台兆瓦级商用空中风力发电系统，首次试飞成功。

The R&D team behind this "airborne power station" is based in the Lugu Industrial Park of Changsha High-Tech Zone.

打造这个“空中发电站”的研发团队，就在长沙高新区麓谷产业园。

Compared with conventional land-based wind-power turbines, the floating wind-power system requires no large-tonnage towers and features a simplified foundation structure, cutting material use by 40 percent and the electricity cost by 30 percent.

相比传统陆上风机，浮空风力发电系统无需建设大吨位塔筒，基础结构简洁，可节省材料40%，度电成本下降30%。
