Martin A. Haase is a Canadian who has called Changsha City in central China's Hunan Province home for 17 years. Born in Victoria, capital of British Columbia, Canada, he fell in love with Chinese martial arts during high school. Guided by his teacher at the time, he crossed the ocean to study acupuncture in Changsha. The profound depth of traditional Chinese medicine and the philosophy embedded in martial arts captivated him, inspiring him to stay in China to immerse himself further in its culture. Beyond his personal journey, Martin actively fosters student exchange programs between his hometown and Changsha's university, becoming a vital bridge for traditional Chinese medicine and cultural exchange between Canada and China. He wants to invite all of his friends to visit China, and experience the wonderful Chinese culture just like him.

加拿大人马丁·A・哈泽（Martin A. Haase）在中国中部湖南省的长沙市待了17年，他把这里当视作自己的家。马丁出生于加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省首府维多利亚市，高中时期便爱上了中国武术。在当时老师的指引下，他远渡重洋来到长沙学习针灸。中医的博大精深以及蕴含在武术中的哲学思想深深吸引着他，让他选择留在中国，进一步探索中华文化。除了自身的经历，马丁还积极推动家乡与长沙高校之间的学生交流项目，成为加中两国在中医和文化交流方面的重要桥梁。他想邀请自己朋友来中国游玩，像他一样体验精彩的中华文化。
